Rules Explained: Player Status Report

To support and enhance the integrity of the Sal’s NBL, all teams must provide a Player Status Report prior to all games. This is how it works:

  • Teams are required to provide the League with a Player Status Report by no later than 5pm the day before a game.
  • If playing a second game (double-header) within 24 hours of a first game, Teams are required to provide the League with a Player Status Report by 11am on the day of the second game.

Teams are required to disclose the following:

  • Any player on a Team roster ruled ‘Out’ or ‘Questionable’ along with one of four reasons;
  • Illness
  • Personal
  • Injured (along with injury details – ankle, knee, concussion for example)
  • Not Rostered

Example: Jerry McGuire – Questionable (ankle)
