As the Sal's NBL prepares for tip-off to season 2019, the league continues to forge new ground in its efforts to bring fans closer to the game and keep them informed seven days per week.
Starting from this Tuesday and Wednesday, the league will publish the selected teams for the coming round, including the possible starting line-ups as selected by the coaches.
Every Tuesday the league will publicly release the teams for the weekly Thursday night game, while each Wednesday the teams for all games played between Friday and Sunday will be made public.
"We want to bring the fans closer to the action and keeping them informed and talking about the teams and the league during the week will help facilitate that," said NBL GM, Justin Nelson.
"Every team has to list its roster during the week, including a possible starting five. Teams will also indicate if a player is active or questionable, which no doubt will spark some talk about possible injuries. All up, it makes for good conversation and extra focus on the coming games," Nelson added.
Season 2019 tips off this Thursday when the Manawatu Jets host the Supercity Rangers.
